February Newsletter

Some fabulous workshops coming up that have been made with love...
We will lovingly create our own Boxtrolls at the Kids Film Lounge.
Share a gift of love at Creative Kids in The William Morris Gallery.
In the Half term, we will be zooming into space, the final frontier
at Walthamstow Toy Library.  Pictured below a big daddy bear chair
made at the November Creative Kids Goldilocks session.
The kids and adults made copious amounts of triangles then
painted the card and the birds. I later constructed all the separate parts to
make the chair. I am very proud of our joint effort.

Sport'ability' has started!  A project to create new sports games
for groups of Waltham Forest residents of all ages.
Workshops and events will identify and celebrate skills that people
already possess, but may not be aware of. In addition to innovative
sporting activities, trophy-making workshops will celebrate the unique
achievements of participants. We are making plans to go to
Whitefields school, enter the E17 art trail and
Walthamstow Garden Party 2015! We have a blog that will have details.
I have created my own game, after noticing I was quicker than my kids
at sorting out the smalls from the laundry basket. They have less motivation
I suppose! See on the blog , or, click here:  The sock sorting challenge
