Puss in boots- growing magic bean stalks

We planted magic beans at the screening of Puss in Boots this Saturday. A special bean that would grow with a message.  The kids made plant lables.  Not just run-of-the-mill plant lables. The kids used their imaginations and drew what their beanstalks would look like once grown, or even what could be at the top of the beanstalk. Family Wassail the royal parade

Thankyou to all who came and supported the Walthamstow Wassail today.

A special thankyou to the volunteers, Rhian, Vanessa, Karen and Val

. For helping record the day  Kevin. For supporting the flow of wassail to drink, Lucy's parents. The accompaniment of song on guitar, Tom Lynch. Supporting the whole idea, Friends of Wingfield park. Of course, Lucy for creating the whole event.

Family wassail, January 12th from 2p.m til 5
 £4 per child and £1 subsequent child, at The Vestry house Museum, Walthamstow.
 Making crowns for Wassail Kings and Queens of the day!

Walthamstow Wassail January 13th.
10.30 til 12.30 at The Vestry House Museum, to learn by ear
4 p.m at The Nags Head, with sheet music
£3 per person, bring snacks
Wassail around Walthamstow and end at The Folk club, Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub
