We are back to school with Scribble and Smudge workshop this Thursday 12th Sept @WMGallery for Creative Kids and this Saturday 14th September a workshop at the “Doing it ourselves” exhibition at The Mill.
Thursday 12th September, we will be celebrating local artist Madge Gill at The William morris Gallery,s under 5’s workshop called Creative kids. Fun mark making. Bookings and details are in the events above, ‘make a happy mark’ Two session available choose morning or afternoon. Free workshop.
Saturday 14th September, the culminating days of the exhibition retelling local history about the first Cooperative nursery. Discussions about child care today with Lucie Stephens from the New Economics Foundation and we will be creating badges from rhymes and stories collected from the Coop. Leytonstone Loves film. A weekend of fun for cinefiles and much much more. Our good friends Stow Film Lounge are screening in different venues on 28th September throughout the day. A street dance fevered film guesting with local dance school X7eaven ‘You got served”, our very own local children’s film ‘The Tricycle thief ‘ by SFL, where you can spot local personalities. A Spike Lee delictation Blackkklansman and a Q and A with John Smith avant garde film maker. A spread of activities For all ages.
