Colourful cloth at Creative Kids

  • The William Morris Gallery Forest Road London E17 4PP United Kingdom (map)

Join us this month creating a riot of colour! We will take inspiration by artist Althea McNish’s textiles. Take home a colourful cloth, perhaps to wear as a scarf . We will have fun with songs and games too.

Creative Kids is a free workshop for 2 to 5 year olds with their carers. Booking is essential. Choose either a morning or afternoon session. 10 til 11.30 or 1 til 2.30 pm .

Althea McNish , a Trinidadian black artist was celebrated for changing textile fashion in post war Britain from dull and dreary to a colourful dance of colour and texture. See https://wmgallery.org.uk/whats-on/exhibitions-43/althea-mcnish-colour-is-mine
