Easter bonnet to make at home #WMGathome

Easter is here! What better link to the William Morris Gallery collection than the Brother Rabbit print and the Easter bunny?

You can make a simple hat with cute little bunny ears to bounce along with. You will need a few craft tools, materials and a print out of Brother rabbit . You’ll need about 15 mins preparation and 15/20 mins creativity time to make the bonnet.

I have aimed this activity to our usual Creative Kids age range of 2 .5 yrs and up. Click on link to see full instructions of the bonnet and download the print from William Morris Gallery website for learning at home. See the animation for step by step details. We would love to see your bonnets, please take a photo and share it with us on Instagram (@morrisgallery) or Twitter (@wmgallery) using the hashtag #WMGfamilies.

No craft gear at home? I have another version of a bonnet that only requires newspaper sheets and tape. It’ll be in the April stay at home newsletter below.

Have a fun filled and safe Easter weekend everyone.
